Successful rehabilitation to support a post-mining land use (PMLU) is underpinned by achieving a suitable final landform with long-term stability. Many factors influence a mine’s final landform, and all must be considered through the design and implementation phases to ensure a final landform is established that can sustain the desired PMLU.
